Concept Mapping
The main goal of concept mapping is to connect learning objectives to assessment. And it can be also an assessment tool to determine student learning. It has to be written in a clear way, and behavior, conditions and criterion/degree has to be clearly specified.
I have used a learning goal that we have defined in one of my current projects: a blended course about how to communicate effectively in Spanish in a professional context. The introductory module focus on intercultural communication and students have to acquire the concepts and the accurate terminology to analyze communicative situations correctly.
